Lindt's Marc De Champagne Truffles
Recently, we met up with an old friend of my husbands' working overseas.
She surprised us with a box of truffles from no other than the renowed Master Chocolatiers' of the world!!.. *whirls frantically*

Marc De Champagne, name for a brandy made as a by product of the champagne making process by using the discarded seeds and skins'. Below is a picture of the lightly dusted balls of delight.
Looks promising..
The first whiff of it's intoxicating alcoholic frangrance is remarkable. The brandy chocolate filling is creamy, but falls short of blending together with the outer layer of milk chocolate. In contention with other truffles, I'd rate this a 7/10.
